(Nashville, Tenn) May 23, 20110--Last night in Las Vegas, multi-platinum selling artist Chris Tomlin was named “Top Christian Artist” and his No. 1 hit “Our God” was honored for “Top Christian Song” at the 2011 Billboard Music Awards. The star-studded event was hosted by comedic actor Ken Jeong and broadcast LIVE on ABC.

“Our God,” written by label mate Matt Redman, Jonas Myrin, Chris Tomlin and Jesse Reeves, was first heard on Passion: Awakening and re-recorded for Tomlin’s latest album And If Our God Is For Us... Earlier this year, it was nominated for a GRAMMY ® for “Best Gospel Song” and took home the award for “Worship Song of the Year” and this year’s 42nd Annual GMA Dove Awards.

Additionally, Chris Tomlin has partnered with iTunes® for an exclusive premiere of his brand new music video “I Lift My Hands,” the latest single from his seventh record, which is also being featured at a special discounted price of $7.99 for a limited time only.
